It’s my first day today in my new job. Back to full time work baby! It’s exciting and scary at the same time. But, I feel that this job will definitely make me grow. There are a lot of adjustments to be made – I actually started with my sleeping habits. Starting last week, I slept and woke up earlier. I had to buy new clothes ’cause most of the clothes that I have (that still fit, hehe) are casual clothes. I’ve owned my time for the past year. It’s tough, but I’ll get used to it.
Wish my luck, and hope with me that this will be a great ride. Meaning, I hope that there will be more ups than downs.
It’s my first day at work and I already have lots of things to do. All I can say is… BRING IT ON!

Unfair.
Working in Makati
Today it hit me. I’m a Makati girl again. Well, sort of. And I don’t mean “preppy-yuppy” Makati girl. I mean “have-to-go-through-traffic” Makati girl. I have to wake up earlier than usual, and I have to go through really bad traffic at least twice a week from now on! I went home at 3PM to avoid rush hour traffic. And if what I went through earlier was not rush hour traffic, then I can’t imagine how bad it is now.

But don’t get me wrong, I have no regrets. I like what I’m doing. I just have to make some adjustments. Hey check out my new workstation! (Well, it’s mine twice a week.) And I have another thing to look forward to: another opportunity is knocking at my door. I’m not expecting much and I really don’t know what it will entail, but hey, this is still something good. I’ll find out the details next week.

Let go, and let God. That’s just what I did. And now it seems that everything is falling into place. I just started on my part-time job today, and I’m so excited! I didn’t expect this, so imagine my joy when it was offered to me. Yup, I am now a marketing consultant (I’m assuming this since we didn’t talk about the designation) for PinoyExchange! I’m going to help Mads with marketing – site growth, advertising, sponsorships, events, etc.
I only have to go to the office twice a week. I chose tuesday since update meetings are usually held on this day, and wednesday, by way of cancellation. For mondays, since there’s a radio show (please tune in to 918AM Sports Radio from 8 to 10AM, mondays), no one’s in the office until the afternoon. For thursdays, we only have one car available because of color coding. For fridays, traffic is really bad, worse than the usual shitty daily traffic.
This is definitely going to be another hell of a ride. And I’m excited! Please do check out a PinoyExchange!
