Hey guys, last year, I decided to do something meaningful each year for my birthday. Last year, with the help of many friends, I was able to raise funds for Charity: Water. The money has already been sent to Ethiopia and is being used for their water projects there.
This year, I’m raising funds for the Cancer Warriors Foundation. I would like to humbly request for donations from my friends and family. Please help me help them.
Info from Cancer Warriors:
Every 3 hours, ONE Filipino child dies of cancer.
They die not because they are too weak to fight the disease…
NOT because their parents were negligent…
NOT even because the doctors were incompetent…
They die because they are POOR.
They die because they cannot afford the high cost of medicines and treatment.
In developed countries, survival rates for childhood cancer can be as high as 80%. In the Philippines, survival rate is at 30%.
Kids should not fight cancer alone.
I want to help them fight the fight of their lives. Please join me!
You can send your donations to in person. I’ll arrange something. Or if you have a Paypal account, just click here:

Have to admit that I didn’t know many Lifehouse songs (or maybe I did, I just didn’t know it was from them or what the song titles were). But I wanted to watch because I really, really love “Hanging By A Moment”. And boy, Lifehouse didn’t disappoint! Jason Wade sounds so good live. And, the crowd was great! Lifehouse said that Manila was one of their favorite places, and it was obvious why! There was so much love for the group, they looked overwhelmed.

The Avengers is one of the best superhero movies ever made. And this is because of Joss Whedon.

"Meaning is not something you stumble across nor what someone gives you. You build it through every choice you make, through the commitments you choose, the people you love, and the values you live by. For me, it begins with the choice to learn. Learn all the time. Learn all your life."
I have a new favorite place – Slice High St. It’s located in the new block of Boni High Street, right beside Jamba Juice. They have wonderful, heavenly desserts. My favorites are the Choco Yema and the Morning Glory. Other notables are the deep dish chocolate chip cookie, and banana pudding. And they have good food too. I was able to try their Barbecue Chicken Rice Melt (they use brown rice) and I couldn’t get enough of it! Slice High St is my new “comfort place”.
I watch A LOT of shows. But I’ve never really counted them, and I was inspired to count when a friend mentioned that he follows 30 shows. So, let’s do this…
I watched The Cranberries Live in Manila last April 10 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum. Though the venue was only 65-70% full, the crowd was still great. And kudos to the group who gave it their all. After all these years, Dolores’ voice was still the same, beautiful, haunting, powerful. The group started with Dreams which was immediately followed by Linger. The last song before the encore was Zombie, and the very last song was Salvation. It was a great night.
Check out the full photo album here. And check out The Cranberries’ new album, Roses.
